Minecraft Anorith Mob v-0.5.0

Description

Now for an Anorith mob model for Minecraft. This model does not really have any intended moving body parts upon its first coding in. This is because I still remotely remember how the feathers/wing things were animated in Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness and that will not be simple to animate.

I might ask for some math help from some of those nerds on FurAffinity with no life.

Irrelevant Random Rant
Fun fact: most of the pornographic content buyers on that website are limited to a very few. Either cause they are high wealth and have nothing better to spend it on (at least three $1000+ annual commissioners told me directly) or cause they are spending what really probably shouldn't be (like government unemployment financial aid).

A few of the "nothing better to spend it on" people mentioned they thought what they were doing was good by giving artists that need money, money. To me its like, "At LEAST give people dignified and meaningful things to do."

It just occurred to me that many of the people I just mentioned are, in some direct way, government paid (in their respected countries).

Ah well, why did I put a furry related rant in a Minecraft submission? Derp.

Model Coding Thoughts
Anyways, I believe the math solution I'll need for the feather animations will stem from sequences and series sort of equations.... the things I'm worse at it math.

If you know the leg coding in animal mobs, you'll know sin() and cos() are used and they are only activated when the mob is actually moving to a different x/y/z coordinate. So I believe what I need to do, is somehow have four sets of variables feed four different but similar equations yet somehow be delayed in sequence into their sin/cos movements.

Actually, I'm glad I typed this out as I did get some ideas of what to try. I think I would be able to combine some exponential functions embedded inside a series of if statements right before the animation coding. Hmmm....

Lol! I completely forgot I could work with if statements. Derp again.

Entity Ideas
Alright, if you are still reading, here are some thoughts on what I will do with it.

Likely just spawn in the Ocean, Beach and maybe Swamp biomes as a neutral mob (so if you hit it, it and its surrounding friends will become hostile [Zombie Pigman coding would work great here]).

It will probably pack a bit of a punch with a decent speed (halfway between Skeleton and Spider speed) but you will probably be able to one shot it with most weapons (unarmored and low health). So it would be the sort of mob where the action from a group will happen really fast.

Now that I think of it, that kinda sounds like the Silverfish mobs.

As for drop items, I don't have the slightest clue. Might introduce a cookable "shrimp" food item... ...or "bug guts" crafting ingredient.

Tools used to create this Model:
Techne (for the model)
Photoshop CS5 (for the texture)

This mob was inspired by Anorith of the Pokemon Company.
