Description
I made a remake of one of my favorite Victini pictures. Well, the original was only a sketch but it was so old, I could not erase the lines to shade it. I just made a new one.
I shaded this during my idle time listening to boring as heck class lectures in Taxes or Auditing. I would say about three lectures in all to shade this. The sketch I had to do before hand because I can't concentrate on listening while sketching. And it has to be graphite, otherwise color takes too much of my attention to listen.
I hope you like my take on the Pokemon, Victini. The title is named after one of my favorite original soundtracks to the game, Emperor: Battle for Dune.
Done with two mechanical pencil hardnesses on cardstock.

I thought this looked familiar. 
While it woud be cool to see the digital rendition you were doing finished, your graphite work is always so awesome. I like the facial expression better on this one, too. As always, the textures and shading are fantastic.
